Guardian Series
Csports: Guardian series, which follows the Festival of the four Gurdians event, is the start of the first season of Battlecores Csports series. This season will be a short season compared to the season following, due to testing the bases of the season.
The Guardian series consists of two main components:
-
Guardian league: The top-tier competition featuring professional csports teams, competing in a structured season with regular matches, playoffs, and a championship. These teams are the best of the best, with skilled players, expert coaches, and dedicated staff.
-
Ranking Ladders or Rank Season: A competitive ranking system for non-pro players, where individuals can participate in online tournaments to earn ranking points. As players climb the ladders, they'll face tougher opponents and have opportunities to join the pro-league.
The guardian series offers a clear pathway for players to progress from amateur to pro:
-
Start in the ranking ladders, competing against each other players of your skill level and create bonds, these bonds will later help you form a network to form teams!
-
Earn ranking points and climb the ladders to reach the top rankings
-
Get noticed by pro league teams to be recruited onto a team roster or qualify for the Guardian league with invitational events such as the "4th flame" tournament to join the pro league
The guardian series is designed to foster a competitive, supportive, and inclusive environment for Csports players of all levels. Join the journey and become a part of the guardian series community!

Ranks:
-
Terra(Genbu): The starting point for new players, where you'll begin your journey. 0-100 (no end of season prizes)
-
Dawn(Tiger): The first milestone, where you'll start to face tougher oppoenents.101-250 ( end of season cores)
-
Tempest(Tokiwa): the mid-tier rank, where strategy and skill start to shine. 251-400 (end of season cores and mat)
-
Inferno(Ira): the highest non-pro rank, where the competition gets fierce. 401-500 (end of season cores, mat, and exclusive BC season item)
-
Phoenix: pro unseated teams (introduced next year)
-
Guardian: the pinnacle of achievement, where top teams compete. (pro seated team)
How it works:
-
players register and create an account on the platform (challonge) and Google docs form
-
they participate in online tournaments, earning points based on their performance
-
points are tracked and updated in the ranking system at the end of each rank-up period (Sundays)
-
players can climb ranks as they accumulate points
-
top players in each rank at the end of the season receive prizes associated with their ranking area.
